Inspired Living, Designed Well.

Carol Carr Interiors + Design is a residential interior design studio serving Shorewood, Fox Point, Bayside, Whitefish Bay, Mequon, Milwaukee, and surrounding Wisconsin communities. We create thoughtfully designed homes through interior design, renovation, furnishings, custom details, and furniture restoration-bringing together color, pattern, texture, and the pieces that make a home uniquely yours.

The most meaningful homes don’t begin with a blank slate.

They begin with the people who live in them: their stories, their tastes, and the pieces they already love.

Carol Carr Interiors + Design takes a thoughtful, personal approach to residential interior design, bringing together color, pattern, texture, and a considered mix of old and new. Existing furniture and family heirlooms aren’t obstacles to a new design; they can be some of its most important elements. Through restoration, reupholstery, thoughtful sourcing, and intentional updates, meaningful pieces are given new life and a place within the home.

The goal is never to create a space that simply looks designed. It’s to create a home that feels layered, comfortable, distinctive, and entirely personal, reflecting where you’ve been, how you live now, and what you love.

With more than 20 years of experience in interior design, Carol Carr has created thoughtful, distinctive spaces for residential and commercial clients throughout Milwaukee’s North Shore and surrounding communities.

Her approach is personal and intuitive, shaped by an appreciation for color, pattern, texture, and the character of the pieces that make a space feel like home. Carol believes great design doesn’t always mean starting from scratch. She looks for opportunities to incorporate what clients already own and love, thoughtfully blending existing furnishings and heirlooms with new elements to create interiors that are meant to be lived in and loved for years to come.

A Home That Feels Like You.
